Military spouses work from home at a much lower rate than they’d like. Although challenges like frequent or unexpected relocation, job changes, and increased stress are common in active-duty families, finding legitimate positions where military spouses work from home can be difficult.
That’s why Conversational is launching Operation Career Continuity, an initiative that is focused on building a new opportunity for spouses of active-duty military members that want to work remotely. Military spouses work from home as receptionists through Operation Career Continuity (OCC).
Operation Career Continuity
Under OCC, military spouses work from home as remote receptionists for Conversational, answering calls, taking messages, and offering basic customer service for businesses around the U.S.
We’re here to make it simple for military wives (and husbands!) to work from any location as a professional remote receptionist.
Before we can do that, we need to find a stellar candidate to spearhead these efforts and begin to build a network of military spouses who might be interested in being part of the beta test for OCC.
Military spouses work from home
Through OCC, Conversational will provide stable jobs to military spouses that can be performed from any location. These women and men will answer calls for businesses around the U.S. from their own home and perform an action based on the clients’ preferences – for example, transferring the call, taking a detailed message, sending the caller to voicemail, or offering basic customer service.
Working remotely is especially beneficial for military spouses because it removes one enormous challenge from relocating: Transferring to a new location or finding another job.
Through Operation Career Continuity, military spouses work from home as Conversational receptionists and ensure they can earn a steady income even in the midst of relocation or deployments.
In the meantime, Conversational builds a remote workforce made up of dedicated, skilled women and men. It’s a win-win situation!
