The Worst Receptionist Ever: What Customers Really Think
Worst receptionist ever.
“We were on holiday from Ireland visiting family and needed a hotel for 1 night Upon arriving at desk found excuse for a receptionist, chewing on something using her cell phone whilst laid back as if she was at a movie. We asked about vacancies only to be told sorry we are full followed by some silly excuse about a group due to check in.We went outside and rang twice only to be told that yes we have vacancies She was quite obviously too interested in playing on her phone and eating chocolate instead of making money for her employer. We asked to speak to a manager only to be told there was none on duty at 8.30 pm ( very strange). Nice looking hotel though and rooms clean and well laid out. Pity about front line staff. WORST RECEPTIONIST EVER. AWAITING YOUR REPLY.”
This was the worst hotel experience ever.
Receptionist shares SSN, personal info in front of other patients
When I arrived, I seen new staff at the front desk. I believe the girls name was Megan who was helping me at the counter. In the middle of helping me she said “Excuse me, I need to take this call, I have been on hold for 20 minutes now”. So I said “that’s fine.” While I was standing there she is on the phone giving all the clients “personal” information to the person on the other end. Name, DOB, SSN and insurance!!! Really?? What happen to the privacy of the patient?? Do they not need to follow the HIPAA Laws?? This was very concerning to me.
Along with disclosing all the clients information, she hangs up and is now on the phone with the other office arguing about the scheduling of a patient and who needs to call the customer to tell them about the schedule change and that she didn’t feel she needed to do it because she called there first to get the approval to add the client to their appointments. She seemed very miserable and kept making negative comments about her job. This just seemed very unprofessional.”
Worst customer service we’ve ever received.
Most arrogant and rude receptionist ever.
“Honestly, I can say that I met the most arrogant, and rude receptionist ever! Our Flight to Bologna Delayed and so we had to check-in later than expected, I called the hotel to inform them that we would be late. We were greeted in the most unfriendly, and arrogant behaviour I have ever experienced by a Receptionist! after nearly 9 hours of travelling, his behaviour was the last thing that I wanted.
